IKEA Cats Commercial – When Advertising Works

Last Friday night, Matthew and I were watching a week’s worth of The Daily Show (we usually watch all four episodes after I’m done with work on Fridays) when THIS commercial came on:

Needless to say, we didn’t fast-forward through it.

I even asked Matthew to not delete that episode of ‘The Daily Show’ so we wouldn’t lose the ability to watch it again on TV.

And then we realized there’s this thing called the ‘Internet’.

Which also resulted in us seeing this ‘The Making Of …’ version:

And though we both know it’s advertising, IKEA is now forever cemented in our minds as a.really.good.store.

Not to mention the fact that we like their furniture.

But when cats – lots of them! – are included, we’re total pushovers.
