About Us

“Living in Swansea” is a blog about the adventures (and misadventures!) of our life in Swansea, Wales. If you missed it, here’s our welcome message.

When we first moved to Swansea, we lived near Swansea Bay in the Maritime Quarter. Then, a year later, we moved to the Swansea Uplands, not too far away from Dylan Thomas’ birthplace and near a lovely open space called Cwmdonkin Park.

And while it’s generally always windy in Swansea, the summer temps are nice – and the scenery is gorgeous.

Whilst here, we’ve also discovered there is a Swansea, Massachusetts, a  Swansea, Illinois, a Swansea (Ghost Town!) in Arizona, a Swansea Australia, and a Swansea, Toronto.

But we’re happy here in the Welsh (and original!) Swansea. :)

Happy reading!

  2. Hello Amy and Matthew
I manage a local Swansea arts charity and we have created an online television for Swansea. Funded by the Welsh Assembly, we are seeking ways to highlight how more people can get digitally involved.

Swansea Telly is a useful resource for the city and anyone can submit their own video to the website on http://swanseatelly.org/

You can put your own videos onto the channel for free.If you could consider ways we could promote the website via your blog I would be most grateful.

    Best wishes
